Jay started as Foodstuffs’ Executive Chef over three decades ago and now leads the company as CEO and President. He oversees four gourmet retail stores and the high caliber catering department he helped build from the ground up. Known for his loud shirts, sharp wit, and favorite phrase “Nay Nay,” Jay brings passion, humor, and vision to everything he does.

Known for building strong client relationships and leading with vision, he ensures every event, whether BBQ catering in Lake Forest or large-scale trade show catering in Chicago, is a success. Outside of work, you’ll find him in nature fishing, biking, hiking, or hunting.
